I’m NYS Governor Korrupt Kathy Hochul!

Recently, the NY Supreme Court found that my Department of Labor broke the law for dropping home care workers’ wage theft cases. I object! This is America, where immigrant women should be able to choose to work 24 hours a day, and employers should have the freedom to only pay them 13 hours of wages. You don’t like it? There are plenty of *grateful* people willing to take your job!

Some UNGRATEFUL people are protesting me on March 12, 11am at 919 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10022 demanding enforcement of labor law *yawn* and for me to stop awarding a $7B monopoly contract for CDPAP to Chinese-American Planning Council, the home care agency that pioneered and continues 24-hour workdays in NYC. I wish people would listen to why I’m the best Governor!

First of all, I’m a woman.

NY State is now proudly a girl boss state. For too long, women have been told to stay home and let the men do all the work. I say, no more. I know that women get shit done - especially my immigrant sisters - the HARDEST-WORKING ladies out there. That’s why I am so proud that NY is the pioneer in recognizing and empowering the right for women to work 24, 48, 72 hours in a row. Who needs sleep?! Not girlbosses.

Fighting Racism

Thank you to my favorite POC nonprofit CEO: Wayne Ho of Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC), for popularizing 24-hr workdays–not just for his Chinese community–but also for Black and Brown New Yorkers to follow! What a model minority!

Workers say CPC stole $90 million in wages, but it’s good CPC used the money to build a new 30-story luxury tower on the Lower East Side, right? Don’t worry if you can’t afford your rent now, you can always work more hours! While other home care agencies have been splitting 24-hour shifts into 12-hour shifts and paying back stolen wages, I had no choice but to award a $7B monopoly contract to CPC to make sure this innovative system can continue!
